Description
This wine was grown at the Crown Orchard Vineyard in the beautiful foothills just west of Monticello, the primary plantation of Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States, who began designing and building Monticello at age 26 after inheriting land from his father. Crafted from one of the premier Virginia vineyards, this wine gives a bright and delicious expression of cherry and cedar finishing with a lingering fruit and vanilla spice touch! The dominating aromatic hint for this wine is that of bay leaf, as well as others hints of floral and spices. This wine is mildly sweet and tart with soft tannins.
Food pairing: The Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserve is perfect for robust red meats.
